Privacy Policy

Account data. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and profile name. If you use the site without an account, your reading progress, saved words, and streak are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and never leave your device.

Learning data. Articles you read, words you save, and review results — used only to sync your progress across devices and to schedule your word reviews.

Usage analytics. Anonymous product analytics (pages visited, features used) to understand what works. No cross-site tracking, no ad pixels, no sale of data.

Payment data. None. Payments are processed by Paddle (card subscriptions) and PayPal (one-time payments). We only receive confirmation that your payment completed — never your card number or bank details.

To provide the service: syncing your streak and wordbook, unlocking Plus content while your subscription is active, and generating your daily reads. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly ask for them, and we do not share your data with advertisers.

Data is stored with our infrastructure providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and PostHog (analytics). Each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. Audio is generated with Microsoft edge-tts and served from our storage.

We use a small number of essential cookies for sign-in sessions, and localStorage for offline progress. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it entirely at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile, progress, and wordbook from our database. Email 3114688440@qq.com and we will complete the request within 30 days.

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
