Watch out, English speaker
Spanish present perfect (he/has/ha + past participle) is often used for past actions with present relevance, similar to English 'have done'. However, unlike English, it cannot be used with specific past time expressions like 'ayer' or 'el año pasado'; use the preterite instead. Also, the past participle never changes form in the perfect tenses, unlike English where 'have gone' vs 'has gone' changes with subject.
Spanish 'dejar de + infinitive' means 'to stop doing something', but English speakers might confuse it with 'leave' (dejar) or 'stop' (parar). Remember that 'dejar de' is a fixed phrase; 'dejar' alone means 'to leave' or 'to let'. For example, 'dejar de fumar' = 'to quit smoking', not 'to leave smoking'.

Seat is Spain's largest car brand, founded in 1950. Cupra was originally Seat's high-performance sub-brand and became independent in 2018. The Volkswagen Group's plan to shift focus to Cupra reflects the automotive industry's trend toward electrification and premiumization.
