Watch out, English speaker
Spanish's ir a + infinitive is the go-to near future, but English speakers often overuse the simple present or 'will' when translating. Remember: if you mean 'going to do something,' use ir a + infinitive, not just the future tense. For example, 'El banco va a hacer una transformación' means 'The bank is going to undergo a transformation,' not 'The bank will do a transformation.'
Según + person/source is a common way to cite opinions, but English speakers might mistakenly use 'according to' with a person in a way that sounds odd in English. In Spanish, según Armengol is perfectly natural, but in English, 'according to Armengol' can sound slightly formal or awkward; often we'd say 'Armengol says' or 'per Armengol.' Also, note that según never takes a comma before it in Spanish, unlike 'according to' in English which often does.
